Weight: I dunno... a lot? He's a big guy.
Distinguishing Marks: Shai has ptosis (a drooping eyelid) and a shadow that sometimes takes the form of a moose.
Favored Weapons: A glaive called Antler
Personality: Laid back, even tempered, and patient. Very loyal and protective, unfraid to put his neck out for someone he feels responsible for. Shai has plenty of common sense, but his world view doesn't always jive with life outside of his royal castle.
Background: Shai is a crown prince trying to stop his kingdom from being torn apart by a war threatening to reach historical proportions. He was born on the winter solstace, and is poetically known as The Prince of Winter, or the White Moose.
Magic: Shai is a mage, which is unsurprising- despite their rareness, it's more common among the upper class. His abilities are tied to the concepts of Moose and Winter- they give him great strength, constitution, a natural ability to lead, and he is unaffected by cold temperatures.
When using these abilties, Shai's skin may become cold to the touch, his nose will turn red, and his breath will form steam, even if it is warm out. His shadow will also take the form of a moose, though it does that sometimes even when he isn't using magic.
Design Notes: Shai has the standard hero build- tall, muscular, broad shouldered. One eyelid droops. Any standard medieval/anime-ish outfit or armor will work, since I don't have a real standard outfit, but generally, I draw him in white with gold details, often with some kind of snowflake and/or moose motif.
As for his face, I try to draw the bottom of his nose broad (and a sort of flattish bridge), upper lip full (with no cupid's bow,) and a masculine jaw.
