Favored Weapon: Kalani has a morningstar and a bow, but she almost always uses Healing Magic and Holy Energy Beams in combat.
Distinguishing Marks: Kalani wears semi-permanent tattoos in Kagonesti tribal styles. Her ears are peirced (once each on the lobe.)
Design Notes: Kalani usually wears the tradition fringed leather clothing of her people, non-permanent tattoos in traditional designs, and feathers and charms at the end of her braid. She also often wears silver jewelry, which is common among the Kagonesti. (I usually draw earrings and circlet on her brow, as well as a beaded choker with a silver charm.)
Personality: Optimistic and fond of her friends to the point of being blind to their faults. Has faith in the gods, especially the one reaching out to her, despite not knowing who they are.
History: Kalani's family had visions from an unknown god. They lead their clan, following the visions, to a city but found only a false cult, the Children of Twilight. Kalani alone stayed, pretended to join the cult, then destroyed it from the inside and stole a relic they had- an ornament for a belt, which now grants her divine spells. She is trying to bring faith in the gods back to Krynn, while staying ahead of the surviving members of the cult who want revenge (including its powerful and evil leader.)
Kalani's family include her father, chief of the clan and white robed wizard, her mother, a bard, and multiple brothers, including the eldest, who was slain by the evil army overtaking Krynn, and a twin brother named Kalif.
Ideas for Exchange Art: Kalani is a standard fantasy character whose people are at home in the woods. Her magic (energy beams and healing) is holy and often comes with glowy light effects. Her god's symbol is a blue phoenix. Possible subjects for art exchange might include her praying to Habakkuk, crouching among the trees, using healing magic, fighting off monsters or the undead, etc. Drawings with her twin brother, Kalif, would be great.
