Translator Kevin Brown has 25 years of
experience in corporate law firms and investment banks from San Francisco
to New York. In 2006, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the
City University of New York Baccalaureate Program, where he double majored
in Spanish as well as Translation & Interpretation.
He is the author of biographies Romare Bearden (Chelsea House, 1994) and Malcolm X: His Life and Legacy (Millbrook Press, 1995). He was a contributing editor to The New York Public Library African American Desk Reference (John Wiley & Sons, 1999). Since 1978, he has published literary translations, as well as dozens of essays, articles and reviews on the arts, movies, dance, music and politics in newspapers and magazines such as The London Times Literary Supplement, The Nation and The Washington Post Bookworld, among others. |
