JIVE Records - Official Press Release:

Melissa Williams to Release Exposed in August

Though it seems like just yesterday she was singing "Got To Go If," Melissa Williams will be back again August 14, with a new album in stores. The pop diva's fourth LP will be titled Exposed appropriately enough, as Melissa opens up entirely about her inner feelings, experiences and more of who she is on this album. She refers to this album as the truth, and nothing but the truth.

Her early 2001 album All I Am has sold over 4 million copies to date! Big record stores will be eager to bring in boxes of Exposed, though whether the Miss Williams can break Miss Spears' sales record for best first week sales by a female artist will be a test of the resilience of teen pop or even the economy.

The album's success will also, no doubt, depend on the first single, said to be an up-tempo track due to hit radio in June.

Melissa has said that the album which includes such songs as the title track, "No Player," "He's With Me," and "Some Kind Of Wonderful" is taking her sound to another level. Melissa has branched out in her production team, this time working with R&B and hip-hop producers the Neptunes & Rockwilder, as well as her previous producers.

To get an early start on promoting "Exposed," Melissa -- will perform "No Player" on several television shows. A few that should be mentioned is a June 28 visit to "The Late Show With David Letterman," then a July 23 stop at NBC's "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno," and an Aug. 14 appearance on NBC's "The Today Show."

If radio play doesn't add enough hype, the pop diva aims to drive fans into a frenzy with her first WORLD Tour, set to kick off in Europe this fall. <xmp><!-- text below generated by server.
