Well, here's a fine example of what they call pop music today. First of all, the music of "Melissa Williams", if we can call that music, is a bunch of cheap sounds and noises producing melodies that where probably created by scientifics to make sure they would hook young teens who don't know about music. (I also suspect they throw in some subliminal stuff to hook some more! ) Then comes the so not "Aguilera" voice of Miss Williams, which delivers very very very predictable words made up by professional writers. CLICHS. Don't they get tired of singing these same damn words?!. You can almost find out what they are even if you don't know the song! It really pisses me off a great deal that 'artists' like her get so much success. She'll probably never write a decent song and she probably don't know what a chord is. The companies which produces this kind of musical PRODUCT (It's not a real creative effort, it's a commercial product) should be ashamed. She'll probably put out 1 or 2 other albums and we'll soon forget about her. Do you think she'd be that popular if she wasn't good looking? I bet the singles released are well planned. An up-beat dance song, then a 'touching' ballad and then the mega hit pop song. the same thing for all Pop albums. This record is a fine example of how to make money out of music. A recording label takes a pretty faces who can sing if possible, throw in a lot of money to get radio airplay, to create spectacular videos and a lot of media attention. And when it works, clones appears (Aguilera, Simpson, Moore and others) I won't even start about the boybands, which really upsets me a lot. I hope this trend of cheap shallow meaningless teen pop music will soon get to an end and give space for real artists. I really don't understand how you like this kind of music. Another thing that pisses me is that these pop singers win awards for their music. WHAT THE HELL IS GOIN' ON? I suspect some corruption. If you love this cd and this kind of music, with all do respect, you don't love music.I wonder if you'll listen to it in a couple of years. I'M A BIG TIME MUSIC LOVER. GOOD MUSIC BY A REAL ARTIST REALLY CAN TAKE YOU TO ANOTHER LEVEL. I DON'T THINK MELISSA CAN DO IT. NO!! --- 1.5 stars
