My favorite song is "When I Say I Love You (Believe Me)" which is more along the lines of Mariah Carey. Though Melissa, unlike some artists, is not an imitation of other artists: she has her own voice which is a combination of Carey, Madonna, and Jewel, and something else. I wish people would stop comparing her to Christina Aguilera because their singing styles are way different: Christina's style is more base on power of voice like a Whitney Houston. Whereas Williams's is more in line with a voice like Madonna's: Sweet, Sassy, Sexy, in other words as most critics have said like Candy Coated Soul. Other songs that are good are "Make You Mine", which is a real treat if you've seen the video, the video is visually stunning. The other good song, destined to be a radio favorite: "Do You Want Me Baby". The other songs are nice, though I honestly think this album doesn't live up the the hype that surrounds it. Nevertheless, the fact that this album has 8 good tracks that I enjoy, makes up for everything bad.
