Producer Dallas Austin talks about Aaliyah and Melissa in Vibe Magazine's November issue dedicated to the life of Aaliyah. Austin says: "I talked with her [Aaliyah] after last year's Video Music Awards. I told her I was a big fan and that I had spoken to Melissa and we were trying to pull together a duet. She was really excited about that. She and Melissa shared a lot of artistic similarities. They were both innovative and they both pushed the envelope. The day of the crash, Melissa two-wayed me and asked, 'Did you hear something about Aaliyah dying?' She said that Lance Bass [of *NSYNC] had two-wayed her. I went to the AP web site and found out it was true. We were devastated. We were obviously done with work at that point, so we talked the rest of the night and listened to Aaliyah's new album."

You can go into a room and it can be totally decorated, but if it doesn't have the right lighting, then there's nothing. Candles can make for a great environment, and incense can get you in a sexy mood too. With Melissa, since we don't get to see each other as much as we'd like a romantic evening is where we light some candles - she likes vanilla ones - all around the house and sit there over dinner and just spend time together. The meal can be shrimp or pasta, with strawberries and cream or passion fruit as a sexy dessert. We listen to Al Green or Marvin Gaye, and being surrounded by candles and incense amplifies everything. --- from Paul Walker Online
