Can Melissa Williams accomplish what countless other teen-bred acts have terminated their careers trying to do? Can she enjoy superstar sales while savoring a taste of artistic credibility? If any pop diva can do it, this is the one. In fact, Exposed has the potential to be a textbook study in straddling the line between commerce and creativity. Williams' fourth set shows the pop princess co-writing and co-producing much of her material. The result is a set that balances safe single bets ("Get Down On It") with potent forays into hip-hop ("He's With Me") and 2-step dance ("The Truth (Should I Tell Him?)"). Even the ballads are more daring, as evidenced by the electric guitar flickering gem "Some Kind Of Wonderful." After going left and taking a bad turn with her previous effort, All I Am, Melissa has finally gone right, Exposed suceeds immensely. -- 4/5 Stars
