Over 12,000 people have signed the petition to have Melissa x-ed from the project. Melissa got the role because she deserves it and she will do justice to it. There is nothing anyone can say or do to change the mind of the insiders involved with the film. And to be perfectly frank and clear, Melissa loves this joke of a 'protest', it gives her the chance to turn something so spiteful, cruel and negative into a big positive next spring when the film is released. Melissa will do the film and the only advice that can be given to the people who signed and the person who created this petition is....'get over it before May 2003'."
