All I Am Tour 2001

The All I Am Tour was Melissa's very first tour. It opened on January 27, 2001, shortly before the release of the "All I Am" album. The setlist consisted of 14 songs and the show featured elaborate stage productions and a foray of background dancers (8 to be exact). The band was as funky as ever, playing old school jazz numbers in between costume changes.

Melissa, was dressed in tomboy attire throughout the show, only baring her navel during the sensual, steamy performance of "Moments." Her hair was layed curly or straight (depending on the show) down her shoulders. Jewelery was kept to a minimum, but Melissa was spotted wearing large diamond hoop earrings during the first week of concerts.

R&B group Blaque was the opening act for both legs of the tour, while Pop group Dream were only featured on the first leg. Fact: Melissa added "No Player," the first single from her then soon-to-be-released album, "Exposed," to the second leg's setlist on June 6, 2001.
