I just wanted to let ya'll know that Melissa Williams is one of the best singer/dancer/preformers in the world! I'm starting to hate all the, "Melissa shouldn't be doing R&B" crap. If you didn't know, Melissa has been influenced and she grew up around that music so she is NOW having the freedom to experiment with it. This album does show that she just isnt the little Teen Pop-bubble gum singer with a pretty barbie doll face!
1. Got To Go If (feat. Lil' Bow Wow) (9/10) This is one of favorite songs on the album, although Lil' Bow Wow has not too many parts. The beat is very unusual, and so is the song. If you don't know, the song is about not being trusted and letting your partner know, if you cant give me the trust I've earned, I've got to go. Also, If you listen while Lil' Bow Wow is rapping, Melissa's voice could be found "rapping" in a whispery voice. Song is similar to no other Mel song and thats what makes me like it even more.
2. If You're Gonna Dance (7/10) This is a song simular to some of the stuff on her debut album, just showing you that Mel hasnt forgotten how to make some good pop music! Very good to dance to!
3. Loungin' (7/10) The song is ok, Blaque & Melissa really dont mix together well, but it's not a bad song. I also really don't care for Blaque that much. I don't know, I just think it could've been better.
4. Didn't We Almost Have It All (10/10) This song is beautiful. It's basically When I Say I Love You (Believe Me) part II, because of the beauty they both compose. Melissa made a great choice to duet with AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys, their voices blend so well together.
5. Yo Te Sigo Queriendo (9/10) Beautiful bolero track, I am Puerto Rican and I LOVE bolero songs, Melissa are you sure you dont speak fluent Spanish? You pronounced every word so perfectly and so gracefully, GREAT song! The song means I'll Keep Loving You, by the way.
6. Don't Say You Love Me (9/10) I love this song. It has such a pop/rock feel..I love the guitar. This is definitely a great song. I really like the chorus, its a catchy song and again shows that Melissa didn't forget how to make Pop music for her teen audience.
7. All I Am (10/10) This is the title track to her album, and this song makes me cry. I mean, it has beautiful lyrics and it tells you that you must love yourself and love who you are because how can you accept who you are if you dont love yourself? Very positive song.
8. When The Last Teardrop Falls (5/10) Sounds like a filler R&B/Pop song, nothing special.
9. Don't Look Any Further (8/10) Four words, ghetto, just plain ghetto. Her vocals are okay and so/so is the song, Not quite a 10. I'm very ghetto, so I have to give this song props. She should have had a rapper set this song off, it would've been even better. If you ain't ghetto, skip this song.
10. Forbidden Love (9/10) Not my taste, but you got to give this song it's props, it really is a mature and sexy song, this is where the album really heats up...the next song REALLY hits you.
11. Moments (10/10) This song is very sexy and seductive. It's also too damn long. The running time is 10 minutes and 19 seconds!!!!!!!!!!! Anyways, the song; She is only using her whispery voice in a talking tone, but throughout the song, in the background, she is using her sexy sweet vocals through the whole song (It's a sign to let you know she may not be a Christina aguilera, but she definitely can sing) My man Snoop Dogg tore this song up with his sexually explicit rap he has going on, it fits with the whole song and it just makes this song even more listen-worthy.
Overall, I give this album a 8/10. Its a hot album and it definitely shouldn't be overlooked.
