Joanna debuted her Hristakieva vault (Yurchenko half turn layout front) and scored her highest so far - 9.875 for the gold on that event. She also tied with her teammate for gold on bars (9.800), and despite having a few minor problems on floor, still contributed strongly to the team's total.
