Subject: Powderfinger Mailing List

Hey Guys and Gals,

My name is Shane and as you can see I have just joined up with this WIC
Powderfinger mailing list. I'm 21 in a few days and I live in Adelaide,
although I work away a lot. My favourite Powderfinger song would have to be
'Good Day Ray' or 'Hindley Street'. I have just bought Odyssey Number Five,
it's a good album but not as good as internationalist. I have never seen
Powderfinger live but my girlfriend assures me that we will see them at the
Big Day Out next year - till then......

HIIIIIIII.

I'M A NEWCOMER, AND I THOUGHT I'D DROP A LINE WITH A QUICK INTRO AND HELLO.

MY NAME IS LEITH, AND I'VE RECENTLY MOVED TO CARLTON, VIC, AFTER TRAVELLING
THE U.S. AND EUROPE FOR 9 MONTHS. I'M ORIGINALLY FROM TASSIE-GREW UP IN
NORTH-WEST TAS AND WENT TO UNI IN HOBART.

I'M 22 YEAR-OLD CHICKIE, AND LOVE LOUD MUSIC, SUNSHINE AND BEER. AND
POWDERFINGER OF COURSE.

BYE FOR NOW,
LEITHAL B.

hey all! well last nite i had my year ten formal, and was VERY dissapointed,
when the DJ had no powderfinger to play (come to think of it, there was no
decent music to play.....) All we got to listen to all night was dance dance
and more dance...yeah ok, it was a dance thing, but still what about us
people who don't like dance?? and i never thought i'd say this, but i was
actually thankfull when they played the teenybopper crap such as the spice
girls and.....nsync...EMBARESSING BUT TRUE!! hehee, so this is a message for
all DJ'sout there, NOT EVERYONE LIKES YOU'RE WIDE VARIETY OF DANCE SHIT, SO
PLAY SOME GOOD MUSIC FOR THE REST OF US.
blessed be!
Rhiannon

I know we agreed to stop talking about the whole Bardot thing....and I
hope this doesn't really spark it all up again. But....I do a bit of
journalism up here in Cairns and I had an interview with Katie from Bardot
last week. I asked her about Bernie's ARIA comment, and this is what she had
to say about it....

"The first thing I heard was that they’d said something snide and it
was a bit nasty. But I actually went to the ARIA after-party with a few of
the Powderfinger boys and we cleared it all up. It wasn’t meant to be nasty
at all, they just thought it was funny we had a song by the same name. And I
didn’t even know that, and a lot of our fans may not have known that either.
I think they meant it to be funny but it came across a little bit weird.
They were just having a laugh though."

So there you have it. Katie Underwood from Bardot.

Cheers

Nick

Hello Doggies,

When me and one of my friends were linning up to get
our tickets for the Odyssey #5 your tickets... We saw
a little finger food book and we decided to get it and
put little things we've done over time and stick it
over the pages.

We've kinda ran out of things to put in it so... we
were hoping that you Econodogs could help us with
filling up the pages with some humor of your own.

If you have anything that you'd like the guys to see,
a letter, a picture ANYTHING PLEASE can u email me and
I will give you more info on everything.

Whatever you have must be no bigger than A5 size or it
wont fit in the book.

BTW, we're sending it to them.
Thanks heaps doggies!
-Kerry.
