Hiya Econo's,
Well well, hasn't it been a busy time for all of us. The tour excitement,
the ticket trouble, plus the release of their new album. The boys have
certainly made up for the lack of PF we've had this year!!
Odyssey #5 is bloody brilliant!!!!! Who said they'd lost their rock??
Unfaithful you are. Unfaithful :) Seriously, why do people make judgment
before they've heard the whole thing? Oh well, I think it ROCKS!! A great
job by the boy's and a big thankyou to them for sharing with us their
fantastic music, and working so hard.
Ummm...Oh. It was great to hear what Bern thought of napster and all that
sorta stuff. It was good to hear a musicians perspective. It was what I
figured they would think :)...and it was, basically, what Joel, a few other
people, and I were saying back when that whole argument thing happened. But,
I won't go into it 'cause it's over, and we all know who's right. :) (just
kidding *LOL*)
I can't wait for the tour 'cause i'll be having a grand couple of weeks.
This is my intro into year twelve, about a week after we start back...Sat.
14th Powderfinger @ Enmore Theatre...Friday 20th go to brisbane, Sat. 21st
Livid...Thurs. 26th Pwderfinger @ Enmore Theatre!!!! fucking insane, eh? I
can't wait :)
Anyway I've got to go.
Oh, shit, almost forgot :( A big thenkyou, and three cheers, to Joel for
doing the shirts for us all. Thanks matey :)
Cya,
emily

Hey there my fellow econodoggies,
how are we all? Couple of points...
New albumn- LOVE IT, top shit, every song, perfect, wonderful, magnificent,
marterpieces... all of them. Can't get over it, i had a few friends who
thought
it'd be shite, but it's up there with internationalist.
Gregory Conran... you were asking about an econodog t-shirt, unfortunately
you've probably missed out, Mr Joel has organised that sort of thing before,
and has done so again recently, but seems he may be having a bit of trouble
with the printers or somehting, can't hurt to try tho, he's on this list, you
have to go that way to get his e-mail tho, i can't give it to you, unless i
get
his ok- sorry and goodluck. Umm, yeah, and "like a dog" is to do with
(f#@!ers)
politicians, but haven't had time to FULLY listen and figure out whta exactly
yet, you're probably right tho.
EVERY ONE... October edition of JUICE magazine is out POWERFINGER ON THE
COVER.... FREE P'FINGER CD!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's pretty cool, and has a
screensaver
as well.
Last thing, and one going to the third Sydney concert on the 26th October,
and
has no-one to go with, or wants to meet up with another die-hard fan (that's
me), then email me on [email protected].
Well, i'll seeyaz

wasn't he heavily into plaigiarism (apparently) during his
attendance at uni? :D

hi everyone,
this is my first ever post but i've been a member for a long time
now. i'm 17, to be 18 in 4 months and i totally agree with the over
18s, just because we are underage fans of the great ones dosen't mean
we should get special treatment. besides obviously all of this
whinging about it has obviously done some good because in melbourne
we now have an underage show which i have tickets to...YEAH!
maybe there should be a little doggies meet up?
anyway enough of the age debate and concentrate on better things like
the new album

Subject: 2 spare tix to Sydney 14th show
Well, I have 2 gen. admin tix to the show at the Enmore on Sat 14th that
I can't use anymore because I will be in Adelaide for my boyfriend's
mum's 50th (talk about timing). So I guess it's first in best dressed
people. Preferably, I'd love them to go to someone who missed out on
tix altogether (it's a shame you're in Melbourne Emma!!). So email me
privately and we'll work something out.
Things aren't so bad, though. I've bought tix to the 26th gig, but am a
bit bummed that I couldn't get gen admin again. It was only 9:05 and
there were none left already!!! Plus, is there any chance of Skulker
playing with the boys and Magic Dirt, cos I was looking forward to
seeing them on the 14th.
Oh, and to add to everyone else's resounding conclusion, the album
rocks.

Hi guys
How are we all? I just thought I would let everyone know that
the new Econodog T-shirts are in and will be sent off tomorrow
(Monday). I hope everyone likes them.
And while I'm here, I might as well say a thing or two about
ON5. Friggin' Fantastic! You can really see that they are
getting better as a band, and as individuals. I mean the
things that have been done with guitars are far beyond anything
they have tried before. Berns' becoming an excellent lyricist.
Well that's all,
Bye,
Joel
PS I'm glad someone else agrees with me about Napster. I'm glad Bern and I
seem to see eye to eye on this one.
