Current Musical Interests: I've been listening to a lot of jazz lately in the car, i don't have a tape deck, and since the radio is horible these days i've developed quite an appreciation for the style. The bands i'm listening to are: Blindside, Roadside Monument, =w=, The rentals, nirvana, radiohead, chevel, oleander, rose blossom punch, poor old lu, soulfood 76, smashing pumpkins, soul coughing, the juliana theory, FLIPP, candlebox, kLaNk, there's more but this is long enough.. |
| It seems like such a long time since i started to pick up guitar, it's only been i guess almost three years now, but who's counting. A couple months later i kinda god Dave into it, much like i did with his musical preferances. =) haha funny inside jokes....but seriously, having dave to play with was a great motivator to get better, and while i do consider him to be the better, it's always been something to push me more, trying to keep up. it's helped me to get better from competing with him in a sense. We hooked up with Jesse sometime first semester of the 98'-99' school year, sparked by his and dave's passion for NIRVANA. I kinda tagged along and learned as we went, originally on bass. I wasn't that great, so it's a good thing that vince ended up with us. I can't even remember when that happened. He just was in the group all of a sudden..at least that's how i see it. haha so we really started doing stuff as a group about January of '99. MORE TO COME.... |
