| We are also collecting items for the JEFFERSON BARRACKS FOOD PANTRY. As you know some 5000 military families need our help and the following food items are needed: Canned meats (spam, tuna, ham); Soups; Beans; Rice; Pasta; Mac & Cheese; Ramen Noodles; Peanut Butter (not Peter Pan); Cereals; Hamburger Helper. Paper Products needed include: Sanitary Products (tampons, pads, panty liners). Money is also acceptable. Please bring your donations to Chapter meeting. |
| Kirkwood Chapter is continuing to collect Pop Tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. You can bring them to any meeting or turn them into any member. |
| Another ongoing project we have is collecting and recycling of aluminum cans. The proceeds go into our Special Fund for Distinguished Members. This fund will help defray the cost of future receptions. |
| Please don't forget Nurses for Newborns. They assist parents in need to care for their infants. Donations of baby items such as diapers, bottles, rattles, hats, etc., will be put to good use. Items may be delivered to Sister Ann, Sister Lodene or any officer at Kirkwood Chapter. |
| Kirkwood Chapter is also assisting the Rainbow Girls by collecting travel sized items such as shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, soap, etc., to be taken to the USO at Lambert Field for our soldiers who are in transit to and from their duty stations. Let's help them in this worthwhile effort. |
