Margaret Grieco, Professor of Transport and Society at Napier University, is presently combining research and tourism in Australia.

At a conference on sustainable development at Griffith University, Nathan Campus, Brisbane she is presenting a paper on gender, transport and equity.  On the way there, she took time to revisit Sydney and enjoy its excellent farry services to Manley and Darling Harbour. Her offering for this odyssey meeting is the re-presentation of a paper previously given at Cornell University on e-tourism and Africa - www.geocities.com/transport_and_society/etourism.html.

Margaret looks forward to enjoying the Odyssey meeting on line in India which is her next stop on this research/tourism tour.

She particularly enjoys the Jaipur restaurant in Milton Keynes with its architecture of  reminiscence - Indian tourism in the UK invites discussions of how to link the remembered form with the e-form in the exercise of identity
