In the Beginning...
Born in Valendia in the time frame of 498,000 B.C. His bloodline was tainted somewhere farther back in time than even story tellings could go. He held the blood of the accursed Eddas. At this point he was able to control certain skills that a normal man could not. Soul absorbtion was the first he came across. Soon followed by the skill of transfiguration. And now let us hear the story of the one called Odin. He became a Valendia Knight of the peace at the age of fifteen years old. Years later, he was promoted to being a Risktaker at the age of twenty. Three years later, he was returning home from a mission to find his entire town destroyed. Not a soul survivor, his wife, Zelena and his son, Erik William, were found dead as well. Feeling the anger and revenge building inside, he took only his sword, Zantusken and his wife's locket. The locket held the only pictures left of his family. Setting forth, he left his town full of vengance and anger in search of the killer.
More Than He Wished For...
After three years of following the killer's trail, he came to a town called Le Monde. Anger and venegance overtaking his frame of mind when he saw the vampire, he went straight for the creature. The long drawn out battle finally ended when Odin decided on the creatures fate. Laughing, he took the soul from the creatures body. Encasing it within his own, so that he may live out the endless pain in which the killer bestowed upon him. But in doing this, Odin didn't realize that he took on the creatures traits as well. Feeling the need for bloodlust and hunger, he set forth to find a cure for himself. Leaving the town, he searched for away to cure himself. Coming across a group of adventurers, he learned of an old myth. To stop the transformation forever, he must find one of the greatest creatures alive and drink its blood. A dragon being the greatest creature alive at that time.. Myth says, that when you drink it's blood it's spirit then enters your vessel. Hearing the locals talk of a dragon that lives in the north on an island called Island of Ice, Odin sets forth to conqueror the creature. Peering up the mountain in which the dragon lived, Odin sighed and started forth. The enterance to the cave not being hard to find, he found the dragon asleep within it's home. Approaching the massive beast, he drove his spear deep within its chest. A loud cry was given from the dragon as it's life slowly seeped from it. The creature, now deceased, Odin apologized as a blue pool of blood surrounded his feet. Taking his hand, he brushed it across the creature's chest. Placing his hand to his lips, he gently tasted the sour, iron taste as a newfound energy soared through his body. Being the creature that he was, he fell to his knees and screamed out in pain. Black wings sprouted out of his black as his body grew to nine feet tall. His skin took on a steel blue tone. Looking down at his hands he couldn't believe that he had just taken the soul of a dragon. Now with the power of three of the world's prime-evils, he sets forth to find the last and final soul which will give him the ultimate power in which he seeks. Going south once more, he searches for the final creature. Finding the garuru, he was amazed at his strength as the battle was an easy one for him. With cunning power and great wisdom, it didn't take him long to drive his spear straight through the beast. Dropping to a knee, his fingers went to brush across the wound from the deceased creature. Placing his fingers to his lips, he'd taste the very essence of the garuru. Feeling the strength and agility of the great creature pump through his own veins. He'd get to his feet, pulling his spear from the carcass. Then without another thought given, he'd turn and walk away. He seemed to be complete in his own mind, as his own wounds were attended to.
Hoping for a New Future...
Through out his long extended life, he has used many names and held many forms. Some myths and legends were born and some were killed because of him. One such lengend that began was of Vlad the Impaler. The drinking of the blood spawned the myth of true vampires. But for him, this was his true nature. Years if not centuries had past, before he forgot of his darker days as Vlad. Wandering from town to town, he noticed that there were alot of difference between towns and his old home. He decided to buy himself some new weapons and new clothes. Taking on odd jobs to earn his keep. He finally heard of a manor for sale in a town called Rhy'Din. Checking out the town and the surrounds, he explored the estate and found it to his liking. Upon buying his new home, he also found himself a job in one of the local taverns, the Red Dragon Inn. Being a tender there, he seemed to have found everything to meet his new hopes for a better future. Returning home one day, he came across an accident. Going to see if anyone needed help, he realized that everyone there was killed. Shaking his head in shame, he started back towards his home when he realized there was a small girl. On the verge of life and death, he took her home. Reconstructing her, as the only thing he knew to help bring her back was to use what evil he had inside of him. Giving her the gift of demons, he saved her the best he could. Although, she had no memory or recollection of anything, but the locket around her neck. Inscribed on the inside was nothing but a name. Aileen Delphian. Guessing it to be her name, he taught her everything he knew. Finally setting her out into the world on her own, but still keeping a watchful eye on her. Hoping for a better life for her.
