� come with phrases
Participle
� acts like an adjective, looks like a verb
� present form action verbs + �~ing�
example: �a skiing man�

Do not use �very� in writing

Verbs => linking, action, helping

Prepositions � position words
� with, around, in, through, by, over, under etc.
� comes with a noun partner (object of the preposition)
� designed to give information
