PROJECT PROFILE
This project uses satellite tracking to follow the movements of four animals: the king eider, the leatherback turtle, the peregrine falcon, and the polar bear. All materials needed for this hands-on interactive project are on the web site. To start, go to

Students will:
*Gain awareness of migratory species and how the seasons affect their movment.
*Recognize the importance of perserving natural habitats.
*Learn how space technologies work and appreciate their roles in wildlife and habitat conservation.
*Find out how to track and map real migration routes and keep their own field notes.

MY CLASSROOM - DEALING WITH LIMITED ACCESS
One modem line to share using wireless connection between 5 computers. Use Web Whacker software to download website in case of interupted connection. Cooperative groups will be used due to limited number of computers.
