Melanie Kuperstein - Violin
    A 16-year-old junior at Dulaney High School, Melanie comes from a musical family: her father is a violinist in the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, and her mother is a violin teacher who plays in various orchestras as well.  Melanie has been playing violin since age five.  She has been a member of the Baltimore County High School Honors Orchestra and Maryland All-State Orchestra for the past three years.  She also plays in the FAME Orchestra, recognized as the best youth string orchestra in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area. In addition, Melanie has been first chair in Baltimore County BSO Side by Side for the past two years, being recognized as the best violinist in the county.
Billy Russell - Cello
     Billy is a junior at Towson High School.  He is principle cellist of the Towson High School Orchestra and sang in the chorus that performed in the musical "Wonderful Town" in April 2005. Billy was featured as soloist in the Baltimore County BSO Side by Side Orchestra, being recognized as the best cellist in Baltimore County.  Billy is an active musician in the Baltimore Area, as he is principle cellist of the Baltimore County High School Honors Orchestra and co-first chair in the FAME Orchestra.  He also likes to compose music, when he finds time in between rehearsals.
