Gennady Filimonov and Jennifer Caine play @ Simple Measures

Simple Measures- With a Song presents chamber music with voice. How do the words affect the music? Does the music feel different without the words? Are words integral to the music? Do they enhance it? This concert features Soprano and Tenor voices singing different styles of song, in various languages. We will hear songs without words and words without song! Included in this program will be Schubert's song "The Trout" and his beloved "Trout" Quintet, one movement of which is based on that song.
