Jennifer Caine, 2nd Violin
Jennifer, recently completed her studies in England, where she received Masters degrees in Performance Studies from the Royal College of Music and in Musicology from Oxford University. She also holds an undergraduate degree from Harvard in Music and Slavic Languages and Literatures. Jennifer has performed throughout the U.K. with the Knox Trio and in orchestral concerts with the London Symphony Orchestra and the Oxford Philomusica. She has also appeared as soloist with several orchestras in the Washington, D.C. area, and last year, was the first prize winner of the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe Competition. Jennifer is currently a member of the Northwest Sinfonietta and the Odeon Quartet, and has performed chamber music concerts with the Patterson Duo and Cohan-Shangrow Duo in Stanwood, Long Beach, and Issaquah. Jennifer's teachers have included Grigori Zhislin, Zinaida Gilels, and Olga Yanovich. |
