Painted pieces are great accents, especially if you use neutral colors. As for accessories, silver can add subtle sparkle in candlesticks, mirrors, and small boxes. Instead of greenery, try dried baby's breath in a white vase or pitcher. Add a few "old world" paintings in beautiful frames and you've created a lovely oasis in your bedroom. If some of these elements are antiques, that will only add to the charm.
