| Air of Mystery Is your home totally open and seen all at once when you enter? Try to create a little mystery by letting the different spaces unfold as you travel from one area to another. Use moveable objects and experiment with them in different places. In the foyer to the living room or dinning room you could use one or two large potted ferns to obstruct the obvious view and soften the transition. A folding screen or fabric draped to one side can peak a person's curiosity too. Consider the size of the opening and keep the traffic lane open, but keep a little mystery and moving from room to room can become a lot more interesting. |
