DAVID |

Okay. I admit it. I disliked hime when I first met him. I veiwed him as a weak person who bowed to others wishes, even when he knew they were wrong. I never saw him assert his rights. I avoided him because of this. |

About halfway through second semester, I saw David disagree with a person who was a three year freind of his who he previously catered too. The magnitude of the insident was compounded by the fact that I have only seen two people argue with that person: me and him. Somewhat in awe at how David stood up to his emotional bully led me to start talking to him. Through talking with David I began to see his faith in God. I believe it to be his greatest attribute. I attended a Catholic school, attended several churches, and seen many people who claim to be Christian. David is the only true Christian I know. He truly strives to live Jesus's example and knows he is far from his goal. He does not believe what people tell him to believe, but he takes the information, processes it, and prays about it. I admire that dynamic quality that so few people have. In his faith, David is not a hypocrite, but an innocent who is prepared for the long faith journey ahead of him. May God always bless David. |
