The parties over
It's time to go home
But don't leave yet
I don't want to be alone
I know there are papers and assorted assignments
But i enjoy my time out of solitary confinement
I build my walls out of secrets and the bars out of front
This is the first time I've been out in months
I stay on my secret padded floor
And make crayon drawings of dwarfs
But with you here the seclusion isn't so bad
And i remember all the good things I had
In the land of out there where it is dark and scary
And I need a hand to hold and a body near me
I'm scared of everything and the people out there
I trust nothing and hold my secrets tight to my chest
But I told you almost everything
I felt secure, I guess
Thank you for everything you did
And even more for the things you didn't know you did
I like the way we talk and play
Your a confidant, an equal, part of the reason why i got up today
I love you
