Hello, and welcome to my site.
My name is Kath Hudson and I have been doing art throughout my life. I have no qualifications in art, apart from a GCSE, as I don't think qualifications are going to make me paint any better than I do now. I have worked through many subjects in the past, from portraits to architecture but I have found the steel industry to be the most enjoyable and successful subject so far, and the fact that it is not a subject that has really been covered. All my paintings are shown in the gallery and a few are available as prints, but as some of them are painted from photos I have found, I cannot sell prints as I don't hold copyright permission to do so.
The above photo was taken by my sister at around 8:15 on a very cold February morning. I have painted the photo but in less than a week of completing it, Corus bought it off me. I am currently in the process of re-painting it, and when it is complete it will also be featured on this site.
