This happened few nights ago. I have a back room which is being turned into a bedroom for a roomate. I was in this back room and sitting in a chair. And I was floating (me and the chair I sat upon that is.) The room has a ceiling but a foot below the ceiling is a crisscross pattern of lattice and it, like the ceiling, covered the entire area of the room just below the ceiling. Up in one corner of this lattice was a snake. (unidentifed) This snake seemed to influence a dog. It was not a regular dog but perhaps a wild dog or maybe a coyote looking dog. It was NOT snarling or angry yet it was intent on getting to me - by the unseen and unheard prompting of the snake. I was able to move around the room to avoid the dog by pushing off the lattice that hung below the ceiling. I would push off and me and the chair I was sitting in would slowing move about the room. I was able to eventually get to a backdoor (that really is my backdoor in this room). I jumped down and made it out the door into the back yard. Let me mention now that my course would be around the house to the front door. During my procession around the house I encountered five or six more snakes. The first one was strange. It had the head of a coral snake but immediately faded to white and then black for the body behind the head. The second I encountered was I believe a king snake or large black snake anyway. I knew it saw me and I had to jump up on my chain link fence to maneuver around this one and another snake (unidentifiable). I made it to the front corner of the house and jumped backed down into my yard and made my way across the front of the house and headed toward the front door. I believe there was at least one or two more snakes I worked my way around. When I reached the front porch I saw on the top of the front door a coral snake. It slithered across the top crack of the door (moving from the hinge side and into the house, it's head and then part of its body slithered in and then my dream ended. I never was in terror and my emotion was that of great caution. Can you help me interpret this dream. I had a second dream last night about some cluster of stars and I was trying to get a good look at. I kept finding the cluster through a (telescope??) but for some reason I kepts losing it and having to repostion myself to again try to see this cluster through the telescope. I remember be able to see a moon or similar type celestial body but am not sure if that was part of the cluster. I can't remeber anymore. Please interpret these dreams and help me understand what they mean. Thank you

It interests me the two symbols 'snake' and 'dog' in your dream. Snakes, in regards to your dream, symbolize temptaion, a dog symbolizes loyalty. Lattice could symbolize the complexity, and the connected aspects of the situation. Since this dog was not a 'regular' dog, it could be a symbol of 'fierce loyalty'. I would look around your relationships that you have, and try to find someone who wants to tempt you, by contacting someone loyal to you. Snakes aren't to be feared, they are symbols of protection, health, spirituality. So, I would see what that person wants to tempt you with, before you assume it's bad. Your floating in the chair, and ability to maneuver yourself about is that you know you can handle it, and get out if neccessary.You have a very strong support system, so although you will encounter 5 or 6 more temptaions around this time in your life, that will be of help. Since you are aware these temptations will come to be, you will use caution, as in your dream.
