Why I like Vanessa Warfield: I've always thought of Vanessa as a woman who will do literally anything to get what she wants, or what Miles Mayhem wants. Also, she does not like to be told what to do by a man. As the only female VENOM agent, she always has to deal with the muscular side of the other agents, since she likes to use strategy to get her way. The five selected episodes really show her wicked side. In "Demolition Duel to the Death," she uses every dirty trick to try to get rid of MASKagent Buddy "Clutch" Hawks, but she fails when her supposed new friend Boris Bushkin turns out to be MASK's newest member. In "Counter-Clockwise Caper," there's a scene where she can be seen in a beautiful black dress, definitely the style she could easily wear on a Saturday night. Vanessa also puts on the disguise of a professional secretary(including glasses), trying to obtain important information, in "The Golden Goddess." "Riddle of the Raven Master" finds our villainess training the British ravens to help VENOM steal the Crown Jewels. The last one,"For One Shining Moment . . .," shows the two sides of Vanessa: her spiteful side, particularly toward Brad Turner after losing the first race, and at the end, her softer side when she first wins the race and then learns from Brad that "If you'd concentrate on racing instead of hating, you'd probably win all the time!" She graciously accepts Brad's offer of opening the door of her car for her, steps in, and drives off into the sunset. There's also an episode, "The Sceptre of Rajim," where Vanessa's idea of a "shopping trip" includes hand grenades and a radiation detector. Vanessa Warfield is a strong and very independent woman, so don't tell her what to do if you know what's good for you!
Questions about Vanessa Warfield: How did Miles Mayhem get her into VENOM in the first place? Where did she come from?
