Why I like Melodia: If Mon*Star's Mob really needed a woman to give them a boost of power, they made the right choice in breaking Melodia out of the Penal Planet. After all, her maniacal laughter practically sets her apart from the rest of the gang, making everyone freak out at the sound of her shrieking. Also, at the time I got into SilverHawks, I wanted to get a portable keyboard just like her, pretending for it to be a Sound Smasher myself, but alas, it was not to be. Her style of villainy involved getting whatever she wanted in any way, and the favorite episodes listed certainly show that quality. In "Music of the Spheres," she uses her Sound Smasher to take control of Halley's Comet with and slam it into Bedlama. "Limbo Gold Rush" allows her to take control of three would-be crooks and makes them give her all the gold on Automata. She also cheats her way to try to win "The Great Galaxy Race" by stealing the Copper Kidd's Space Racer when the Limbo Limo breaks down, takes Professor Power's Artificial Sun in "Save the Sun," and steals a few items from the Sprinthawk for Mon*Star's "Battle Cruiser." Believe me, Melodia is NOT a woman to be taken lightly, and she'll knock you out if you try to take her down.
