Bear holder for Beanie Babies

This combination Beanie Baby holder and or Pajama Bag  was made for another one of our grand-babies, Kyle,in New York . It is made as a wall hanging suspended on oak rod hung on a wire  hanger with bows of same material as body ,accented with sunflowers . The bear head ,feet and paws is out of brown shaggy-plush felt. The body works as a support for the coveralls which have  five  pockets that will hold beanie babies or other treasures. The back is made with access hole and velcro  strips for easy closing by small hands .This can be used for pajamas or other small treasures.
I have made this as a bear and as an alligator that just happens to be Kyles'  brother Austins'  favorite critter .

Old Fashioned
Sock Monkeys

Do you remember when Granny made these sock monkeys?  Well, there back!  Isn't it amazing how so many toys and things of the past are coming back to us?
For those of you that haven't seen the sock monkeys before, I will try to describe them for you. First of all,  you have to find a wonderful brother,(named KEN) that would go out of his way shopping with his  sister,(named Juanita), on a Red Heel sock hunt in upstate New York. This was quite a chore in itself,
but as you all know families are wonderful, and I do love and appreciate them very much.
The actual monkey is all handmade from one pair of these socks, and made to look like a toy monkey, elephant, donkey, dog, squirrel, gator, tiger, bird, or any animal you like.  They can wear any 18" doll outfit, and please may onlookers as they go out to dine.
This is another craft that is made to treasure and last that comes from the heart, to be passed down to the next generation.

Below  is a 24" poseable clown done in gold, red and silver confetti dot material. It is made to be set on shelf  or anywhere, and has weighted hands feet and bottom so that it is completely poseable. This one sits in a wooden swing accented with ivy and sun flowers for a special lady named Sue.
