The History of the Optimist Club of Watchung
Affiliated with Optimist International, the Optimist Club of Watchung was established in 1965. Over the 35 years of its existence, the club grew to
a peak membership of 125. Although membership has declined in recent years, with 55 current members, the club remains one of the largest, and most active clubs in the New Jersey District.
