It was an article of Douglas Boling in the May 1999 issue of "Microsoft Internet Developer" that upset me so much that I have wrote the following, related to the copyright and intellectual property:

If (as Douglas said):
"We all are not just one big, happy family contributing to a great, shared code base for all of humankind"
Then (I'm saying):
We all are just individuals, all enemies, and fighting one against each other.
If so, then (I'm saying):
No one is allowed, or may talk about humanity. And if such individuals talks or sustain in any way such concept they do it only as a "subtle" weapon against the others on this Planet.
Then: Globalization should be only the result of enslaving humankind as a result of the victory of some individuals who are using such weapons as copyright and intellectual property. And what are politics?

Douglas Boling said: "In fact, if you take Stallman's positions
(is about Richard Stallman, creator of the Free Software Foundation - my note) to the logical conclusion, all intellectual property - from paterns, to books, to music and art - should be free."
And he continued: "If intellectual property isn't property, then just what is property? Why not just give away cars, houses, and everything else?" He asked himself.

But, I'm saying: Else, if intellectual property is property, then why all those writers of articles are writing in vain, for free? Why are they renouncing at such property as words and ideas, giving them to others for free? Why aren't they keeping for themselves and shut up forever? Why if not to fight against others? And also to win, and to take advantage of the freedom to express ideas.  Those ideas constitute intellectual property and should have been paid to be made public. So, what is the freedom to communicate and to express oneself? Is that a way for someone to give ideas for free and for others to take advantage of such ideas and all the knowledge and experience they involve, and, in the name of copyright and intellectual property, to sell them and make power, fame and money?

And what is copyright and intellectual property if not an encumbrance, like an obstruction, to the development of technology and humankind?
