The following are three stories which I wrote in a hodge-podge sort of manner over a period of time.   Those being
'If I Don't Leave Now',  'Blackmail'  and  'Homecoming'.  I've put them all together, simply for fun and because the second
two really make no sense at all without the first one!  Of  course, in my mind, they made perfect sense, but perhaps not
to others on first glance.

I've made some very quite a few changes to 'Homecoming'.  In fact, I've pretty much changed the whole mood of the latter
part of the story.  It's darker.  Actually, it's the story I should have posted in the first place, but lacked the courage.  Still,
the original version is on file here for those of you who prefer it.

THESE STORIES ARE RATED NC17

A few notes of explaination...

*  A secret Anglo-French pact of 1916 put Syria in the French zone of  influence. The League of Nations gave France
a mandate over Syria after World War I, but the French were forced to put down several Nationalist uprisings.

*  Aubagne is the headquarters of the French Foreign Legion.

*  There is also a code of honour within the FFL that no soldier will be left alone or unaccounted for, dead or alive.

*  For those who have never heard of it, Gretna Green is a small Scottish town where couples ran away to elope in
earlier centuries.  You can still get married over the anvil by the blacksmith, but these days there aren't so many
    elopements.

*  I've displayed the lyrics of a favourite song, and full credit is given to it's writer.

*  The only characters which belong to me are Lt.Col Verdi and George Hawker. We can, but dream, of getting our hands
on all the rest, grubby or otherwise!   ;-)

I hope you all enjoy!
