Finding the mental health professionals in Orange County:
The following information was developed to help families and individuals with mental disorders to find qualified centers and care providers in Orange County, California.

1
Attentive Home Care:

1.  Attentive Home Care provides care for the following mental
disorders:  Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Depression, Stroke, cognitive impairments, etc

2.  Families and individuals can look in various referral guides and directories to find us:  New Lifestyles, Alternatives for Seniors, etc.  We are also known by many discharge planners and social workers at hospitals in the Orange County area (ex. St. Joseph's Hospital in Orange, Long Beach Memorial, etc.).

3.  The types of staff we have employed at Attentive Home Care:
Caregivers, homemakers, Home Health Aides, and Certified Nursing
Assistants.

4.  The average number of clients we serve is as follows:  100+ for
Orange County, Long Beach, and Los Angeles; 35+ for San Diego County.

5.  We service all of Orange County, along with Los Angeles, Long
Beach, and San Diego Counties.

6.  Attentive Home Care has been in business approximately 5 years.

7.  The biggest challenge of managing home care service is that all of
our clients are different, and it is not an exact science to match
certain personalities of clients and caregivers in order to assist with
mental and physical conditions.  Sometimes we find an excellent match and the client and caregiver develop a strong relationship; however,
sometimes we have to try out several caregivers with clients until we can find an appropriate match.  We can usually do so within one or two tries, but there are times when personalities may clash.

8.  Additional information about Attentive Home Care:
In the home, patients enjoy familiar surroundings, the warmth of
family, friends and pets with the additional support and encouragement of qualified caregivers. Attentive Home Care gives you this option in the comfort of your own home. We have built a reputation of placing the finest caregivers to assist clients and their families with special needs they may have. Our caregivers can assist with: daily activities, exercises, mobility, shopping and errands, transportation, bathing, dressing, meal preparation, feeding, grooming, incontinence care, laundry, toileting, escort service, companionship, light housekeeping, and medication supervision. Attentive Home Care employs homemakers, home health aides, certified nursing assistants, and caregivers to assist clients and families with special needs.

Our caregivers specialize in Hourly and Live-In care:
We make every effort to match our caregivers to y  our particular needs, based on their training. Our professional caregivers and staff will gladly perform a FREE home assessment, or meet with you at your hospital or rehabilitation center in preparation for discharge. Upon request, we can also arrange an interview for you with your caregiver to ensure your complete satisfaction.

Our caregivers are carefully screened for criminal records, DMV
violations, and reference checks. All caregivers are Bonded and Insured, and selected for their experience, dependability, and caring attitudes. It is important to us that you are completely comfortable with your care.
If you wish to request another caregiver for any reason, we will gladly meet your request right away.
We provide centralized billing and payment services so clients do not pay caregivers directly. We meet all payroll requirements: Workers' Compensation, Social Security, and all other expenses included. There are no hidden fees or charges.

All of our caregivers are employees of Attentive Home Care, and are not independent contractors or freelancers. We take pride in providing
quality home care that is dependable and worry free. In most cases
care can begin within just 24 to 48 hours. Our clients always retain the right to select their caregivers and can stop services at any time.
