Translated Ju-jitsu means `Science of softness`.

It involves using techniques of combat devised on the battlefields of Japan.

Participants will learn :-

To judge the force of an opponent`s attack and use it against them before it takes effect.

To bring an opponent off-balance or evade.

How to topple an opponent by making use of leverage.

How to immobolise or restrain an opponent by use of
locking joints, strangling or restraning holds.

How to to strike vital points of the body in such a way as to produce loss of consciousness or more serious injuries.

How to deal with armed attackers with weapons such as knives, bottles, etc.

The essential principles of Ju-jitsu is to conquer the attacker with any or all means of minimal force. This demands from its followers a strict conformity to verous disciplines.
