���� First, I want to thank you for visiting this web site. This site is very special to me because I have fulfilled an old dream. Indeed, I have wanted to create an Israeli music site for years, without finding the time or the courage to do it.

���� I did this site because I wanted to, not because I had to. I have not been sponsored by any record company or artists and all the comments that you will find here are strictly personal. This site reflects the opinion I have of the rich and diverse Israeli music world.

���� Due to space limitation, I had to make a selection of what I wanted to present here. In other words, this is not an exhaustive site. Still, I tried to cover as many different artists as possible and give an overview of the main singers. One other criteria was the quality of the artists, or to be honest,� the quality upon my own standards. Therefore, some people may find my selection subjective. I admit that it may be, but as I said, my main objective was to present a different and original picture of Israeli music.

��� I�did my very best to make this site attractive, interesting, and also easy to browse. The organization of the site is very simple: singers are alphabetically sorted with a short description, then each artist has his/her own page with more information about him/her and his/her songs. There is also a shortcut where you can find the list of all my "highly recommended" CDs, still with a short review of them.

���� This site is merely a starting point. I want to pass on to you my passion for Israeli music, hoping that you will want to discover more about this great musical culture.
