It has been a great time with everyone in OCF. I'm so glad that I've joined OCF and started my steps back to God. As we are God's children, I would like to encourage everyone to grow in His Name.

Dear OCFers,
One thing which God has been teaching and reminding me is openness to Him and a willingness to listen to Him. We might ask, how exactly do we know it's God speaking and not my own thoughts? Clearly, our hearts have to be seeking Him fully; and we are aware of whether we are truly seeking Him or if we are distracted. I've found it really helpful to not allow my life to become too busy, even if the demands on my time are areas of Christian service or Christian meetings. If we have too much to do we often find it difficult to pause and reflect, or to simply have the peace to pray. Our ears can easily shut out what God has to say to us, and our hearts become closed.
God has given us this Spirit to dwell in us. Let us pray today that we will incline our ears to listen to Him, so that as we seek Him He will strengthen us in our Christian lives and show us the way to go.
