She has short wavy black hair and brown eyes, and looks still a bit like a child. One thing that sets Aida apart from other riders around is her pretty much innocent look. Most of time, she would wear light blouse with long sleeves, pants and, sometimes, a flowing skirt, which she'll sometimes detach from her costume when flying. Background: Aida was born at Ista hold, 23 Turns ago. She is the only child in a family of Weavers, with an interest in the craft. The girl was mostly a loner, as she grew up, preferring the dreams to lead her along, rather than a company of her peers. She preferred to stick around with her older brother, Aiter, who would always protect her. She would rather play with the needle and some material, often watching her mother work. Aida's quietness along with her soft voice did not deter the girl from her usual walks around the hall and its surroundings. The girl was pretty much surprised when during one of the family's dinners her mother's friend left with them firelizards' eggs - four, including one for each of their family. She reluctantly took hers. When the time for their hatching came, Aida - who at the time was an Apprentice Weaver - got bronze flit, same as her brother. Since then, bronze flits Raskal and Fort managed to get their new human friends busy. Their impression of the firelizards happened just a year before the Searchriders of Fort and Ista Weys found the two. Aida was taken in by Ista Weyr, where during the following Hatching the girl Impressed little green dragon called Ilinth. The Weyling Aida was too busy with taking care of Ilinth, but she still was missing her brother very much. He training in her craft went very slowly as well, and she only got to the rank of Senior Aprentice. At her graduation from the Weyrlings, the young woman and her dragon were caught in thhe severe storm, and Aida was seriously injured. She managed to get at Oceanside Weyr, then, while still recovering decided to stay in. Her brother joined her a little while longer. Pets: Bronze firelizard Raskal. He's young flit, of deep bronze colour with light hint of gold on his wings, and with a bit of this bandit character. The flit will make sure Aida won't be bored - that is, when she is not busy with Ilinth. Raskal normally will disappear for most of the day, only to appear to snatch something away and let Aida chase him often all over the Weyr. And then he'll manage to get into trouble somewhere else - then the young woman will have to search for him, at the same time having much fun over Raskal's michief. Most of the time, her own trouble will come from her flit. Personality: When she was growing up, Aida was very shy. The girl preferred the company of her older brother, as well as gaining some of the training with knife, mostly for self - defence. She was a loner for most of her life, being within herself for most of the time. With appearance of Raskal, the girl's life became a little hectic, and made her more cheerful and easy - going inside her family. She still was uncounciously shy around strangers. The Impression of the green dragon had changed the girl's character to the better side. Aida is still shy and curious, but she is an easy - going, once she gets to know the person. No longer quiet, through, the young woman is as cheerful and steady as it were possible in her uneasy job. Normally, when she is angry or confused, Aida would brush hand through her hair, or start to stutter, which, in case of anger, will only flame her up even more. Her eyes are another cue - they'll change fom ice blue to sapphire depending on her mood. When she's curious, they will be those of deep sapphire. And sometimes she'll be very curious - which might lead her in trouble from time to time. Dragon: Name: Ilinth Color: Green Age: 3 Appearence: AIlinth is an emerald green dragon, medium for her kind. Her wing joints are of deeper shade. Personality: cheerful and easy - going, Ilinth is a bit of a flirt, but she never gets very far. The dragon is an opposite - and better - side of her rider, and tries to help her to overcome her troubles as much as she can. |
