Chapter History
On May 22, 1957, Kappa Kappa Psi charted its 96th Chapter, the Gamma Omega Chapter at Texas Southern University. There were 23 members on the 1957 charter line. The Beta Alpha Chapter (Baylor University) served as the �Big Brother Chapter� in 1957. On October 29, 1972, the Gamma Omega Chapter was reactivated. There were 28 members on the reactivation line in 1972. The Beta Sigma Chapter (University of Houston) served as the �Big Brother Chapter during this time. The Gamma Omega Chapter is the first all-black chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi.
