Huntington Beach, California- the second oldest DGC in the world. I was born and raised here, and am proud to call it my home course. This is a technical coastal course, with medium to long range holes and many tough shots. There are a lot of trees that make it quite a lot more interesting for 1st timers. The course appears benign but does take time to master, and seems to never get boring even to the most seasoned disc golf player. Mild but effective elevation changes and perfect weather make this course pleasurable to walk any time of the year.
Try the alternate tee in between 5 and 6 that goes down to the rear basket on hole # 2 - it's an epic downhill shot played primarily by locals. |
