10 Commandments

You shall have no other gods before me

¨ Keep God’s words in mind so we may not sin against HIM

¨ Respect authority anywhere you are and observe/follow rules and consequences

You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.  You shall not bow down to them or worship them

¨ No one speaks for the authority other than itself

¨ In the beginning of any gathering or setting understand the rules and expectations first

¨ In a group always one person talk at a time

You shall not misuse the name of the LORD you God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name

¨ Respect parents, teachers or other authority and each other, no calling names, use respectful terms

Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy

¨ Finish work before you play and try your best in whatever you do

¨ Be gentleman and lady at church, no screaming, fighting, or shouting in public places, no physical attack

¨ Let your body and mind rest by not involving in mind or physical straining activities, especially on Sunday

Honor your father and your mother

¨ Keep good attitude towards parents, teachers, siblings, and among friends

¨ Care for your parents and elderly, be kind and gentle with little ones

You shall not murder

¨ Keep whatever gathering harmonious, be good host and hostess

¨ Being a guest respect host and hostess

¨ Do not gang up against anyone

¨ Welcome new friends

¨ Use words that please God to resolve conflicts

You shall not commit adultery

¨ Build relationship that pleases God

¨ Consult your parents when you have doubts in relationship among friends and siblings

¨ Reserve time for family activities

¨ Care for each other’s feelings, do not hurt each other either physically or verbally

You shall not steal

¨ Do not take what’s not belong to you

¨ Respect others’ privacy

¨ Keep your hands to yourself

You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor

¨ Be honest with what you say and do

¨ Take responsibilities

¨ Do not accuse others for stealing

You shall not covet your neighbor’s house.  You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor

¨ Be content with what you have, do not think of other people’s belongings

¨ Respect other people’s belongings

¨ Keep your environment clean at all times, either at home, school, or church, help others in need

¨ Love one another
