These activities are a part of the statewide stream study effort, StreamLink, which is designed to increase water resource literacy. Students were able to apply the math, science, and reading skills they have been developing this year in a field setting. The data collected will be sent to StreamLink and combined with data from other teams across the state. This data is important to help provide a year to year picture of the health of Kansas waters. For more information about StreamLink, please see www.streamlink.org. Ottawa County test results, data, and pictures from the stream study are available on this website. |
