| The WHISPER technology is based on the fact that the case inside temperature is higher than the ambient temperatur. With the help of a small hose the ambient temperature will be directed right onto the CPU-fan. Not only air turbulances anymore. |
| CPU Cooling: Cooling elemnts are usually being used to cool CPUs. Very improtant is the very quick transportation of the heat, away from the processor. If the CPU overheats it will unavoidable lead to malfunction. Between the cooling element and the CPU exactly where they get in contact a heat guiding paste" will be put on. That�s because of the heat contact resisdance. The aim is to keep this resisdance very low to guarantee a quick transportation of heat. The form of the used cooling elements differs a lot, concerning the socket. But one thing�s fore sure, on every cooling element a fan is being used to cool the cooling element. As you can imagine this cooling system will aproach its limits very quickly. This case is occuring when the fan can�t cool the cooling element to an acceptable temperature. Influences like the ambient temperature is a major fact in the process of cooling. If there are many components built in, the abmient temperature near the CPU-fan will rise. That causes the temperature rising of the cooling element. In order to appose this, bigger cooling elements are being used. (If that�s possible concerning space) Also the use of better, more powerful fans is vital. Expierienced user resort on fans of the Alpha-Company or on the Orb-fans. That fans are the most powerful ones you can buy for money. The Orbs are cheaper, but very very good, also compared to the Alphas. Those fans does have a higher air throughput and the quality is very high. Vital for all overclocker. |

| This will raise the efficiency of your used CPU-fan which doesn�t have to turn that rapid. That will cause a reduction of noise ! The same also applies to the power unit radiator. The highest noise will be under 37 dB says ELAN VITAL. If you are using the WHISPER technology on a Slot 1 system, the noise will be reduced to 31 dB. (Socket 370 only 30.6 dB) |
| Case-cooling: Usually fans are used to cool the case down. Tha bad war air will be transfered to the outside. This fans should provide a good airflow within the case. That�s very improtant because of supplying the CPU fan with fresh cold air. If the airflow breaks down the best CPU-fan can�t work properly. The attachment of more fans on the case can sometimes cause wonder. Special computer cases are available to buy. This cases are perfect for overclocker. The best and easiest way of case-cooling is, to let the case open.. Of course the noise will raise a little bit............:-( .........but you will be on the secure side !
