| TRAINING Training is essential for you best friend in order to socialize with other dogs as well as to ensure their own safety and make your life easier. To train dogs you can read books or pay a trainer if you got the money. Some books I recommend: 1. Housetraining for dummies 2. Dog tricks for dummies However, like me with impatience I rather pay someone else to train, which training can be very expensive without price investigation. If you live in Richmond, BC like me these are the places you may want to check out for good service for your money's worth. Petcetera Pet Store on 3 Road for training only. BUT don't leave your dog their for day care since your dog will be just left alone all unhappy and lonely in an unhygiene room, might as well save yourself the money and leave your dog home in a confinded area that he or she will be more comfy being at, that is if you got to leave your dog alone, well better at home than overheating and end up dying in your car or end up dying because too cold.... I mean I take my dog out for car rides too but I just make sure that I'll be in the car with him or her most of the time including just going to mc d's for drive thru take out or returning video tapes at blockbuster where I will physically see the dog and not to leave him no longer than 30 minutes, well at least I try my best. If you going to leave your dog for hours in the car might as well let him stay home he will thank you for it! TK Canine Training is is located in Richmond BC on River Road. I'm planning to take Oby and Shylie there as soon as I get the money. Their rates seems not that bad but always can be better, the cost is 6 sessions for $195 CDN which includes the training for potty, sit, stay, come, basic commands in order for your dog to be safe, make your life easier and able to socialize with other dogs nicely. This price was quoted as of July 2003, you got to update the price by calling or emailing them yourself. I don't have the phone number off hand but you can visit their website at: http://www.tkcanninetraining.com where you can email them for further information. Ps. one thing I like about this place is that they have socialization classes on the weekends which cost from $10 bucks to $5 bucks per visit which seems like a lot of fun for you and your dog! * Please note anything mentioned here or in this website is on voluntary recommendation best of my knowledge only, none of this content has to or will be assocated to be paid advertising.
