Thank you for your partnership with the Lord of the harvest theough us. "We always thank God for all of you mentioning you in our prayers. We continually remember before our God and Father your work of faith, labor of love, and endurance of hope..." (I Th 1 1-3). This exhortation expresses our hearts' disposition to you, indeed you labor in the Lord is never in vain. In this time, together with you, we shall surely reap a bountiful harvest.

OPERATION SUNRISE AFRICA A little over a year ago impressed upon us, the leadership of Campus Crusade for Christ- SEA , a vision to Reach 50m people in 50 key cities of SEA in 50 days with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. We prayed, discussed and consulted far and wide through what we beleive the Lord is leading us to. The vision was subsequently code-named Operation Sunrise Africa - The largest single evangelistic campaign in Southern and Eastern Africa. My assignment is to network, mobilise and train churches, Christian institutions, prayer groups and individuals, in prayers that will provide the foundation necessary for the success of this vision.

Our Assignment We are serving at the regional headquarters of Campus Crusade for Christ - Southern and Eastern Africa located in Harare, Zimbabwe. This region comprises 21 countries, from Eritrea in the northeastern 'horn' of Africa to Namibia in the southwestern corner of the continent. As the director for Church Resources and Prayer, I am responsible for amongst others, the mobilisation and development of contextually appropriate material for equiping beleivers in prayer, evangelism and discipleship. My wife Joy, is part of the regional resource team for the Youth at the CrossRoads Strategy. This is a Campus Crusade for Christ Youth Strategy designed to focus on moral and character transformation using Biblical principles. The strategy points to Christ as the model and foundation for uprightness of character & indeed life. Her personal ministry in the high schools in Zimbabwe has grown considerably. From a pilot ministry in one school, she has trained over a hundred volunteers (teachers, youth, workers, youth pastors) who are now active in several locations in Harare city and Gweru (a provincial city some 280Km southwest of Harare)
