Tekken Fanart

The Tekken fanart section is here! Art by Obsidian is listed first, and any submissions made will be listed beneath, at the bottom of the page.

***

Candle's Glow | NEW! | G

Medium: 200gsm sketch pad (A3), inking pens, Photoshop 7

Summary: This is a bit of fanart from Crimson (which you can read here in the fanfiction section). Kazuya spends a bit of quality time with his only son in the Mishima dojo. Full credits for this picture (and a place to review) can be found here at DeviantART, along with a full summary.

3D Art | NEW! | G

Medium: 3D Studio Max R3, Character Studio

Summary: These two models are the latest results of my lazy attempts at modelling for Quake III Arena. The one on the left is the original model, around 3380 polys in size; the one on the right weighs only 1300 or so, and has been reshaped and cut down so it doesnt kill Quake III when someone tries to play it. I have yet to properly biped and animate him, along with skin him. Itll be a while before you see him with a BFG or a Gauntlet...

Wrrrrr-ENCH! | NEW! | PG (suggested violence)

Medium: Sketch book, mechanical graphite pencil, fine tip felt pens

Summary: This was a random sketch done at school, when I didnt mind Jin so much. It was from before I knew how to properly widen lines too, so the line work is basic. I think we can all figure out whats happened here. The chibis at the top of the page reflect a revenge scenario ^_^;

BALL! | NEW! | G

Medium: Sketch book, mechanical graphite pencil, fine tip felt pens

Summary: This is, indeed, a soccer game from HFIL, involving chibified Linkin Park and Tekken peeps. Uh, this is hard to explain. So, here we have the scenario as it unfolds:

Kazuya: Now to kick it into the goal ^^;
Hwoarang: Nuh uh! *grabs foot*
Kazuya: HEY! >.< *foot stuck in air*
Chaz: BALL! ^___^; *dive!*
Mike: Wait up...here I come!
Jin: I cannot BELIEVE this...
Kazuya: Friggin...>.<
Joe: We dun need them, eh Froggy? Let's play in the mud! ^^;
Hwoarang: Go for the goal, Chaz!
Mike: CHEAT!

Oh yes; Mike, Jin and Kaz are on the same team. Chaz, Joe and Hwoarang are the opposing team.

Muddy Chibis | NEW! | G

Medium: Sketch book, many a graphite pencil, black felt tip markers

Summary: This is another soccer game shot...after Jin and Kazuya have been having a nice friendly game - AFTER its rained, naturally. Imagine having these two traipsing through your house, your lovely clean carpets and tiles...in THAT state!

...I apologise for my terrible handwriting o.x

Disasterpiece | NEW! | G

Medium: Double-bound 210 GSM sketch pad, mechanical graphite pencil, at least one entire mechanical eraser cartridge *wince*, black felt tip pens

Summary: Ive been told off for calling this one a disasterpiece on several occasions. The fact is, Im not happy with how some of the features came out. I am, on the other hand, rather pleased with how most of the lines came out, and most of the detail. Thats why Im flaunting it ^_^ Oh, and please dont mind the large ugly line down the middle...the paper was large, and I had to scan it in two parts, and hastily throw it together on PhotoShop.

An Attempt At Anime | NEW! | G

Medium: Printer paper, mechanical graphite pencil, black felt tip pens, Faber-Castel watercolour pencils

Summary: This is an ANCIENT, I stress ANCIENT attempt at drawing Kazuya in anime - my own anime style. I didnt like the way he was drawn in the official anime, so I tried to rectify the appalling attempt. My lines are a little wonky here, but eh, I can live with it. Its still kyoot, in my opinion ^_^;

Raw Kawaiiness | G

Medium: Sketch book, graphite pencil

Summary: Iunno what inspired this one. Basically its an uber-short, fat little Kazuya thing. Chibi or plushie, Im not sure, its just tiny and demented ^_^;

Femme Fatale | G

Medium: Printer paper, graphite pencil, fine tip inky pen things

Summary: This is Kazume; no, fools, not Kazuyas supposed mother. Heres where I place a rant: I HATE FAN-RELIGION! That, and lame-ass names. I dont honestly think Kazuyas mother ought to be called Kazumi/Kazume, whatever you please. Its not only just plain laziness, its as lame as a legless leper. Honestly...the Ooh, blahs related to so-and-so...lets make them a name to match! Ooh! It honestly makes me want to vomit. So do NOT lecture me with bullSHIZA about family names, particularly names of characters THAT ARE NOT IN THE GAME! ...for your reference...Kazuyas mother in my fictions is called Aiko.

Now that thats out of my system, onto the proper summary! ^_^; This is Kazume, as I said earlier; Kazuyas female counterpart from a story/RPG Im working on in my head. Its simply this: What happens if Heihachi passed on an X chromosome instead of a Y? You get a very dangerous female version of Kazuya, thats what...mwaha!

This image also goes along beautifully with the RP session where Cheeb turned my poor Kazuya into a woman...>.>;

Tainted | PG-13 (Shounen-ai/yaoi image, no nudity)

Medium: 2H mechanical graphite pencil, printer paper

Summary: A very, very, VERY strange picture, this. No idea what inspired it, either. Basically, its Kazuya from Jakunen Mirai getting snogged by Kazuya from Crimson. Yes I did say snogged. Thats what the yaoi warning is for! Homophobes and young and/or impressionable persons should not view...everyone else, have a good drool ~_^ Ill be photoshopping this one in the future, because thatll make it all the more saucy ^_^;

Plushified | G

Medium: polycotton, scissors, needle, thread

Summary: Fanart of a different kind; this is a plushie I sewed by hand. He is nearly two feet tall, and VERY cuddly. I even made the muscle tone on his chest! If anyone really, really wants...I can take a few shots of him in different outfits; so far, Ive made him the classic Tekken Tag Tournament PSX intro outfit...the coat is even made out of fake leather! I managed to find gold satin to make the tie out of too...I didnt get around to making the waistcoat before I took the shots.

If anyone weeeally weeeeally wants me to take more piccies of him, then just ask ^^;

Here are a few more of him...to come =\

GEDDOUTOFIT! | G

Medium: Printer paper, graphite pencil

Summary: Akuma-chan, our newly adopted helper to the site, has decided we need some cookies...and now hes eating them! Dang him...found him in the corner gnawing. Here I am holding him by a wing...he doesnt seem to have noticed, hes too caught up in the glory of the chocolate chip heaven. Kaz: Oh boy, theres going to be hell to pay for this...and I aint dishing it out for once!

Bruised | G

Medium: Printer paper, mechanical graphite pencil

Summary: Post-Tekken 2; Kazuyas taken a beating from someone or something; the scars across his cheeks are fresh and still bleeding (will show up when the picture is coloured). You decide whether hes lying down or leaning against a wall. Point is...hes been hurt, but is oblivious to the pain as much as is possible, though he feels the weakness and exhaustion, as is clear on his face.

This art piece has undergone updates and reworks...the old edition is below, for comparison.

Akuma and Mitsukai | G

Medium: Sketch book, mechanical graphite pencil, fine tip felt pens

Summary: Akuma and Mitsukai from the story Illusions; theyve been chibified! No, here Angel and Devil are not enemies, but lovers - and to prove it, they have a son...Keiji.

Dont Mess With Me | G

Medium: Printer paper, mechanical graphite pencil, fine tip felt pens

Summary: Tekken Tag based, I think. Im not sure what I was trying to do here. At any rate, Im proud of the amount of detail I crammed into this one. I stuffed up his left arm, but who cares?

Memoirs Of The Late Kazuya Mishima | G

Medium: Sketch book, mechanical graphite pencil, fine tip felt pens

Summary: This is from Ashes to Ashes, another of my stories; the tale of a family which lost its only child. Yes, Kazuya died when he fell down that cliff this time. In this picture, his ghost sits in a corner, watching silently. The skirting board behind him shows right through him, as if he werent there at all...

Rock Band From Hell Knows Where | G

Medium: Printer paper, mechanical graphite pencil, fine tip felt pens

Summary: This...is...screwed. Another of my weird ideas. Kazuya isnt the Kazuya we know; hes from an unwritten story where hes actually adopted...and no longer part of the Mishima family. Torek and Koruh, the Klingon and Romulan, are exchange students (Star Trek timeline has been somewhat warped here). Hwoarang is a friend of course, and Jin is Kazuyas cousin.

In the band, Torek is the front man - his voice is similar to that of Chester Bennington from Linkin Park, and equally as powerful. Jin is the Emcee - and bass player - and, since he does sound like Mike Shinoda in Tekken 4, he does here too. Koruh is the mad drummer...hates singing. Hwoarang can sing, but ends up sounding like Bizzy D from Sum 41...he prefers to stay behind his gear as a DJ. Kazuya...of course...is the crazy guitarist. When asked to sing, the closest one could liken him to System Of A Down...which he loves listening to anyway.

Look Here, Lee Fans! | G

Medium: Sketch book, mechanical graphite pencil, fine tip felt pens

Summary: This is a piece Im very proud of. It ended up looking fantastic in the book I was drawing in. Its not yet complete, but it still is effective.

Lee Chaolan from Tekken Tag...only in Tekken 4 gear. Come get him ladies!

Gnaw Gnaw... | G

Medium: Sketch book, mechanical graphite pencil, fine tip felt pens

Summary: Jin doesnt like Devil. Devil doesnt like Jin. Jin has the upper...erm...jaw, here. Uber-chibified and rather ridiculous...but funny all the same.

More Gnaw... | G

Medium: Sketch book, mechanical graphite pencil

Summary: This is what happens when one tries to molly-coddle a chibi Kazuya. This, my friends, was a 1-minute sketch, and most definitely looks it. Still, amongst the sloppy lines...you might see the humour in my bad drawing ^_^;

A Tribute To Miss Saiyan Rage | PG

Medium: Printer paper, mechanical graphite pencil, fine tip felt pens

Summary: This is dedicated to Saiyan Rage, the one who brought upon me the wonder that is Kazuya Mishima. It was drawn a long time ago, so some of the proportions are crappy...but Ill fix it one day. Ill also ink and colour it.

This is Kazuya from Dead Violet. Hes holding a knife, thinking to himself, Shall I end it today? Nah...lets just have a little fun. Thats why its PG; its easy to tell what hes about to do with that knife. Again, Ill make it look better in the future...for now, its a half-done piece.

Kazperiments | G

Medium: Printer paper, mechanical graphite pencil, fine tip felt pens

Summary: Here I was experimenting with a new image for Kazuya, to go with an idea Ive had for a while; adopting Kazuya into a nice warm Australian family. These are the first sketches of him - age seventeen, bright and chirpy, with shorter hair. Yes, theyre kinda crappy...because theyre ancient!

Neko-neko-chaaaaan! | G

Medium: Sketch book, mechanical graphite pencil, fine tip felt pens

Summary: Yup, Ive done Neko pictures...here are the Tekken ones! And yes, this is the way I draw cats. I was once into the Lion King, you know ^^;

Neko-neko-chaaaaan! II | G

Medium: Sketch book, mechanical graphite pencil, fine tip felt pens

Summary: Heres page two of the aforementioned kitties. I was quite industrious the day I created these guys ^_^ Two pages, drawn and inked!

Inseparable | G

Medium: Sketch book, mechanical graphite pencil, fine tip felt pens

Summary: Kazuya and Devil, chibified, and inseparable. Are they friends or foes? Depends on the story, naturally; if its Illusions, theyre like brothers. If its just about any other story, in the next frame theyll be at each others throats...

Just Like A Computer Image...But Not | G

Medium: Printer paper, mechanical graphite pencil, fine tip felt pens

Summary: I drew this out of boredom at school. It kinda looks a bit like those computer-created images with characters layered over one another, only it was hand-drawn. Thats why it looks kind of warped. Then again, I dont know how to draw Steve or Christie without something in front of me ^_^

Schnuggoo... | PG

Medium: Printer paper, mechanical graphite pencil, fine tip felt pens

Summary: An affectionate moment between an anime Kazuya and Jun. This was from when I was just learning how to draw anime properly...so be warned of weirdness. Tekken 2 timeline here, I think...cant remember.

Full Moon | PG

Medium: Printer paper, mechanical graphite pencil, fine tip felt pens

Summary: Mike shows Heihachi what he thinks of him. Chaz stares. Jin rolls with laughter. Joe gives Kazuya a hint as to why Chaz is staring... (mild suggested slash warning)

Jin's Got A WEDGIE! | PG

Medium: Printer paper, mechanical graphite pencil, fine tip felt, watercolour pencils pens

Summary: This is the finished version of one of my existing deviations...coloured up and with the pencil lines removed. I've redrawn and highlighted some of the black lines to make them look a little better, and I've coloured the lot in rather crusty watercolour pencils. At the time, I was also suffering from sunstrike _; I apologise for the shocking colouring in advance.
