This is the glossary section. I got it from my good friend Feathered Edge. Please go visit her site. She spent far more time on hers than I did in mine, and it shows!!! Anyway, this is to help those newbies that have yet to learn all the terms needed for the essential understanding of Yaoi and anime. Go visit Feathered Edge, she would love it. I was basically far too lazy to do one myself, so I borrowed it. HEH HEH.

shonen ai - shonen=boy ai=love. Same thing as 'Slash' just in japanese (us anime fans like to use this word!) This means love between two (maybe even more!^^;) males, and not as in a brotherly love... I know you get the picture...

Yaoi - basically the same as shonen ai, but this word's usually used for more explicit content...there's an actual meaning to the word, which apparently means no meaning (confused? yeah, me too) Actually I don't think this is really a word at all, it's an abbreviation of 4 japanese words. Unfortunetly (or fortunetly, if you are sick of my rambling^^) I don't know the words Yaoi stands for. It would be easy to find on the net if you want to find out!

Sap - a word for extremely sweet and lovey-dovey things... I don't even know why this is a warning...(maybe so people like me can easily find the sweet stuff!

Angst - Stories marked with this will have a dark/depressing kind of mood in some parts.

Hentai - A japanese word for perverted...heh *dry cough*

Lime - When characters get touchy or intimate with each other (actually I'm not entirely sure how far this goes to?�)

Lemon - This will mark very explicit sexual content...in other words, not for the children or the squeamish!

PWP - Stands for 'Plot, What Plot?'. Basically stories marked with this are usually pure smut!

OOC - Stands for 'Out Of Character'. The characters of the story act in a way that they'd be highly unlikely to in the original anime/manga!

Owari - Thought I'd put this in since I mark all endings of fics with it. Owari means 'End'' in Japanese.

So, there you have it. You are now set to go off in to the world of yaoi and anime. Kinda helpful, right? Please go see her. I know she'd love it! Thanx.
