I named my GUIDON Opinion column tag for a computer term, but it was only much later that I decided to make it a dedicated computer column. It's a challenge to write a column about information technology that's interesting, without sounding like a total geek. I admit I'm no expert with computers, and I know nothing about programming or the nitty-gritty inner workings of the Internet; but I am interested in the field, and we all learn something new everyday.
